Florence Oregon real estate offers a city that has a population
of around 7,500 and it is situated on the Siuslaw River, 48 miles north of Coos Bay and 50 miles south of Newport; Eugene is 65 miles to the east.
Florence is the largest community in western Lane County and is a center for business, medical care, education and business.
Large sand dunes characterize the area around Florence. Located on the northern edge of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, Florence is best known for the hiking, bird watching, horse back and dune buggy riding activities available in the dunes.
